Contest Entry Form and include it with either your link to the submission online or upload your submission to be eligible (the Entry Form must include your current address and telephone number) Send to: FilmContest@lingual.net. To upload your film, go to the Lingual Net home page (www.lingual.net) and click on "Contest Submission."

GUIDELINES
1)
Films must be in English. Films to be displayed on our English language learners site (www.lingual.net) are for entertainment and educational purposes – so films must be in English or have English subtitles.
2)
Format - Any format acceptable as long as it is viewable on web.
3)
Genre - narrative, documentary or animation are accepted for this contest-We want ENTERTAINING films-drama, comedy, action, suspense, romantic, etc.
4)
Prizes - All films selected for display on the site will be awarded US$100.
5)
Length - Length must be between 3-8 minutes. No films shorter than 3 minutes or longer than 8 minutes will be considered.
6)
Right to Display - Pending agreement with filmmaker for a mutually accepted payment for use of his/her work that is accepted by Lingual.net for display on its website, filmmaker will grant Lingual.net the non-exclusive rights to distribute the film via the Lingual.net website.
7) Entrant agrees to Lingual.net putting its official logo and the words presented by at the beginning of each film as well as English subtitles at discretion of Lingual Net.

Submission Process- There are 3 ways to submit your film.
1st way: Online Submission. Click on the upload link and upload your film to our ftp site. Please be prepared to send a DVD, if asked.
2nd way: Land mail. Send your submission on DVD to our land mail address. Lingual Net, P.O. Box 3485, Walnut Creek, CA 94598 USA
3rd way: Provide a link for download.
Lingual.Net accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or misappropriation of entries during the submission process or shipment process at any time.

Releases - By participating, entrants agree that the Sponsor and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and its agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this Contest, including entry and participation in this Contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes. All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this Contest, they will indemnify Sponsors from any and all such claims, including the attorneys’ fees related thereto. The Sponsors shall not be responsible for any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer on-line system, computer equipment, software, program malfunctions or other failures, delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from downloading as part of this Contest. This Contest shall be governed by California law. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree that California courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Contest and that venue shall be only in San Francisco, California.
